Xajaxproject.org has been stolen *update*
When you'r reading this you probably found our new url on Google or another website. Unfortunately our domain xajaxproject.org has been hijacked on Friday 2010/09/17.
It looks like the attacker got access to the Gmail account that was used for managing the domain. He set up a filter on the inbox forwarding all incoming mails to another E-Mail address. This way he also got access to our registrar GoDaddy and transfered our domain to the registrar OnlineNic.
We contacted the GoDaddy Undo department but haven't got an answer yet. [update] GoDaddy got all the needed informations now and is contacting the new registrar to get the domain back.
We'll keep this post up-to-date if anything new happens.

Genner Puello says:
why don't contact the people that stolen it, so the hijack new owners?
q_no says:
There is no "contact". The WHOIS query returns only fake entries...
John says:
You can contact the company hosting the account that the domain name is owned under. If you can prove that xajaxproject was copyright/trademarked/incorporated before the time it was acquired/stolen, you can file a lawsuit.

They are generally not very responsive, but you could also contact Google. This is a fraudulent use of someone elses brand/webspace. Might get the thiefs AdSense webspam account frozen and suspended. This might help more than a handslap from OnlineNic (which likely hasn't valid contact informaiton either.)

Phew, that gave me a good scare! I use xajax in all of my projects and it's the best thing I've come across. Thanks for your continued hard work! As for the hijacker: LEAVE OPEN SOURCE ALONE!

ICANN should be able to help you or tell you how to get your domain back: http://icann.com/en/contact/
